This Friday, July 24th, TechSoup’s NonProfit Commons in Second Life will feature a discussion on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This week is the 25th anniversary of the ADA (#ADA25), a civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against people with disabilities in all areas of public life, including jobs, schools, transportation and all public and private places that are open to the general public. Come learn and discuss how the ADA effects education, employment, communication, community participation, and more.
