Nonprofit Financials: How to Read an IRS Form 990 for the January 24th NonProfit Commons Meeting

Friday, January 24th, TechSoup’s NonProfit Commons in Second Life meeting will feature Tom Kujawski (INCARN8 in SL) who will walk us through understanding nonprofit IRS Form 990. IRS Form 990s are annually required documents for U.S. based non-profits. Learn the basics of how to read an organization’s 990, and what that information indicates about the fiscal health, governing body and programmatic impact of the organization.

To prepare for the meeting, download a copy of the 2013 IRS Form 990: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f990.pdf
