This Friday, November 4th, TechSoup’s Nonprofit Commons in Second Life will feature Dr. Douglas Maxwell, who is the project director for the Military OpenSImulator Enterprise Strategy (MOSES). He is a mechanical engineer, computer engineer, and researches the proper applications of simulation based training technology for light infantry mission preparation. His presentation will cover the mission of the MOSES research project, and the areas of technology that have been developed and tested that could benefit the OpenSimulator community, as well as the benefits of a proposed software foundation and how it could enable growth.
