9/6 NPC Meeting: All About The Fact’s Game Show

This Friday, September 6th at the Nonprofit Commons in Second Life, Kent Danitz is presenting “All About The Fact’s Game Show”. AATF is an inworld educational game show that is a not for profit group helping to educate and create fun for others in Second Life. He will be sharing about how they got started in SL, what games they do, and about their educational program. To quote Kent, “I have been in SL since early 2009, I have to always been one to give give give and help help help.
 
Also, Gentle Heron will share tips to achieve Inbox Zero for Mentor Central!

No Nonprofit Commons Meeting Friday August 30th

Nonprofit Commons in Second Life will not be hosting a weekly meeting this week due to the Labor Day holiday weekend in the US.

Open Forum for the August 23rd Nonprofit Commons Meeting

Lavender Field. Feed a Smile Tour for the August 16th Nonprofit Commons Meeting

Please join us August 16 at 8:30 AM SLT for the Nonprofit Commons in Second Life Friday Meeting as Brique Topaz of Feed a Smile leads us on a field trip to Lavender Field. Feed a Smile is a Second Life charity project for Live & Learn in Kenya Int’l – English Page. Brique will share about this virtual space that makes a difference in the real world.

Community Virtual Library (CVL) Hypergrid Resource Library Tour for August 9th NPC Meeting

Please join us on Friday, August 9th at 8:30 AM SLT for the Nonprofit Commons in Second Life Meeting we will feature Valibrarian / Valerie Hill leading us on a tour of the Community Virtual Library (CVL) Hypergrid Resource Library in AvaCon Inc. or Kitely Grid. The vision with this project is to help educators new to OpenSim learn about what hypergridding is so they can connect to educational communities across multiple virtual worlds.

The Writer’s Craft: Writers on Fire for the July 19th Nonprofit Commons Meeting
