VR for Good for the September 18th NonProfit Commons Meeting

This Friday, September 18th, TechSoup’s NonProfit Commons in Second Life will feature a discussion on using virtual reality for social good. VR devices like Oculus Rift, Samsung GearVR, and even simpler ones like Google Cardboard do not only have the power to transform gaming and online entertainment, but also have tremendous potential to immerse people into virtual experiences, allow for embodied storytelling and training, and for people to feel deep empathy for social causes and events through virtual reality.
