Efficient Blogging with WordPress for the November 10th Nonprofit Commons Meeting

Join us Friday, November 10th for the NonProfit Commons in Second Life meeting, which will feature artist and Peninsula College faculty Renne Emiko Brock ( Zinnia Zauber in SL ) who will share with us how to easily set up and efficiently use WordPress. WordPress Blogs create an online presence quickly and affordable and enable you to focus on content instead of code. Learn the essentials of adding and editing posts and pages, assigning categories and tags, embedding images and content from sources like YouTube, and connecting to your social media streams. Renne will introduce using WordPress to develop a free blog. This blog can be exported in the future to become a WordPress website.

Renne / Zinnia is an artist, instructor, superhero, and advocate of awesomeness empowering people to be their best virtual and tangible self by advancing excellence, exceptional pursuits, and individualism through creative expression and encouraging instruction with inspired results. Since 1993, she has taught fine art, fiber arts, digital arts and storytelling, social media, multimedia web, video, virtual world utilization, personal and professional branding, transmedia marketing, collaborative community building, and art enterprise with Peninsula College, University of Washington, Monterey Peninsula College, at conferences, and independently.
