NPC CommonGround Networking Party May 6th, 5-7PM SLT

On May 6th, join us for our Splash Soiree water-themed party and costume contest (winner gets to pick the nonprofit that gets the evening’s donations). Our event sponsor is the ALS Association and our DJ is LilTank.

Did you know that May is ALS Awareness month? The ALS Association is the only national not-for-profit health organization dedicated solely to the fight against ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

Enjoy networking and dancing, and learn more about what nonprofits, educators, humanitarians, scientists, and artists accomplish in Second Life!

This is an online, international event that will be held in Second Life, but is accessible to those not on Second Life via IRC chat. See below for details.

Join us for an amazing evening to benefit GimpGirl Community! GimpGirl is a place where women with all kinds of disabilities (and abilities) have come together to talk about what it means to be a woman with a disability since 1998. We currently hold weekly support groups, presentations on relevant topics, free vendor space for members and parties on our parcel. We also have an art gallery with works by WWDs, and events for the general public.

GRAND OPENING PARTY – ABLE (Association for Better Living & Education)

Don’t be left out!! JOIN us for the grand opening party for ABLE (the Association for Better Living & Education). There will be fireworks, dancing to a live DJ, games and refreshments, as well as networking opportunities and a seriously fun time!

ABLE (the Association for Better Living & Education) is an international nonprofit organization working in the fields of: Improving education & literacy; Drug rehabilitation & education; Inmate rehabilitation and life skills; and Campaigning in common sense values that bring communities together in harmony and cooperative achievement.
