JoJa Dhara: “Walking Through Virtual Worlds: Connecting Virtuality with Reality” for the October 12th NonProfit Commons Meeting

This Friday, October 12th, Nonprofit Commons is happy to feature Jolanda Mastenbroek-Dobberaka, aka JoJa Dhara in Second Life, who will speak to us about her experiences in virtual worlds, including her latest explorations into the web based virtual world Cloud Party, and her thoughts on the future of the 3D internet.

JoJa has been involved in community management within virtual worlds since 2006 and is a social media consultant and evangelist for virtual worlds in The Netherlands. She is a lead organizer of the yearly European conference MetaMeets about virtual worlds, augmented reality and the 3D internet. This year’s MetaMeets will take place November 30-December 1, 2012.
